Well, the video. The video of me, that is. This is an edited version of my reading, filmed by my friend Mindy. (There are a couple stills at the start and then the video.) Another friend filmed a longer version, which I will post once she edits it (she's a professional TV editor, so it's worth the wait!) I had a great time, and in addition to meeting Ransom Riggs and Kendare Blake, the two talented authors I read with (whose autographed books are now on my bookshelf!), I met several other local authors, including Kathleen O'Dell, Candace Ryan and Timothy Power, and many, many avid booklovers.  Although it's still a month away to the official launch, I'll be reading from "Don't Expect Magic" at the West Hollywood Book Fair on Sunday, October 2. Since I don't have the book yet, I'll be giving away copies of the first chapter, along with signed bookmarks.
