I met an amazing group of sixth graders and their incredible librarian when I visited a school in Pennsylvania recently. Not only had they all read Don't Expect Magic and had fantastic questions and thoughts about the book (as you see here), but they also showered me with many, many wonderful gifts!

There is nothing better for an author than to meet enthusiastic readers, especially ones who are so intelligent and creative. It was a wonderful day.
 This Saturday, I'll be joining several other authors at the Barnes & Noble in Manhattan Beach, as part of a book fair benefiting El Segundo Education Foundation - also know as: Ed! Ed! partners with local businesses and individuals to raise the money to help public schools in El Segundo.
