 It's been on my home page for a while, but FINALLY, I'm putting it on this Book News page! (Hey! I've been busy writing! I can't do everything!)
ANYWAY - I'm very excited about the cover, which I think is quite beautiful. Different than the cover for Don't Expect Magic, but taking it to the next level, showing a slightly more mature Delaney (and more challenged, as you'll see if you read the book). The image on the cover is referred to very briefly and subtly in the novel. See if you can catch it... Of course, you'll have to wait a few months, since the book won't be published until next year: July 8, 2013 to be exact.  Teen Read Week Events!
YALSA Teen Read Week is October 14 to 20, 2012, and I'll be taking part in two Teen Read Week events in Los Angeles, arranged by author Cecil Castellucci: Wednesday, October 16, 2012 4:00 pm YA Author Panel Los Angeles Public Library - Memorial Branch 4625 West Olympic Boulevard Los Angeles, CA 90019 (323) 938-2732 I'll be appearing on a panel with three other YA authors: Janet Tashjian Susan Casey Amy Goldman Koss Saturday, October 20, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. YAy for YA! Author Mini-Conference Los Angeles Public Library - Central Library 630 West 5th Street Los Angeles, CA 90071 (213) 228-7000 This is an all-day event, with panels going from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. I'll be on the Paranormal Panel at 2 p.m., moderated by Sally Nemeth.
